Thanks to Bernie, Tom, Pam, Len, Trish and Craig for a lovely afternoon of roast dinner, chat and beer. Of course we couldn’t let it go without mentioning Ollie (sp), see the picture. Possibly the quietest bubs we’ve ever seen,

Talking of babies, we now have 3 ladies with bun at the wedding. Luckily no-one is due so hot water shouldn’t be required.

Yum!

We were emailed the seasonal menu from Wapping Food (where the evening dinner is) last night. It looks mouthwateringly gorgeous.

We think we’ve got all the meal requirements from veggies etc, but if any of you fear you may not have told us you can’t eat potatoes because they bring you out in hives or something, let us know as soon as you can.

Somewhere flying high in the sky are Kels clan. Hopefully that long flight from Australia isn’t too traumatic for them.

I also hope they don’t have my ‘plane luck’ and get the big smelly bloke sat next to them who snores loudly and without mercy for 24 hours.

At least when they land in the UK it looks like we should be getting some nice weather for them. (Until the 19th of course where it’s be all choppy seas and horizontal rain).

Top of the morning…..

Woke up this Easter Sunday morning to another beautiful day with temperatures forecast in the low 20’s again. Quite unbelievable for this time of year.

We took the opportunity to take some photographs from the roof terrace (see the picture, of the Thames from the Terrace) and of the Oriental Garden. The views of the city are great from up there but unfortunately don’t come out well on camera. Tsk.

It’s also lovely in the apartment with the balcony doors wide open and the breeze coming through. We had a nice chat with our new neighbour on the balcony this morning. The poor love was horrified as she was a little hung over.
